The Federal Capital Territory Directorate of Road Traffic Services (FCT DRTS) has inaugurated a new Computerized Vehicle Inspection Centre at its headquarters in Mabushi, Abuja. The flag-off ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, 15th January 2025, marks a significant step in enhancing road safety and ensuring vehicles on Abuja roads meet the required standards.
In addition to the newly commissioned centre at Mabushi, similar Computerized Vehicle Inspection Centres are strategically located at Lugbe, Gwagwalada, and Kugbo to provide seamless access to vehicle owners across the FCT.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Dr Bello Abdul-Lateef, Director of DRTS emphasized the importance of regular vehicle inspections in reducing road crashes and maintaining Abujaβs reputation as a model city for road safety and traffic management.

The FCT Directorate of Road Traffic Services urges all vehicle owners to take advantage of the Computerized Vehicle Inspection Centres for a safer and more compliant driving experience in the Federal Capital Territory.
